The Mounds View Community garden is planned to start in spring 2025.

Goals
1. Teach residents how to garden.
2. Promote community through collective gardening.
How does it work?
Fostering community first, the Mounds View Community Garden is designed as a collective effort by all participants.
Our organizing committee of volunteers guide the garden through the seasons. Mounds View Community Garden members can come to any volunteer workshop, training, or event for free.
If harvests are available, it will be shared among the day's participants and extra produce will be donated to Ralph Reeder food pantry.
Location
Edgewood Middle School (District 621) has provided access to an old school garden that is no longer in use.
